I would HIGHLY recommend Answers to Organizing to anyone needing a little or a lot of organization assistance. Jen Ulrich is not just a fabulous organizer, but also a wonderful caring person.
During my cancer treatment, she helped me organize my home and gave me tips to keep it so. From the first moment I met her I knew I could show her anything in my house without being judged. The initial assessment included her starting right away to work with me for an hour or two making an immediate visible difference. She was happy to work with me (or my son or husband), but if I wasn't up to it, she would also work alone. She even took home all of my paperwork having to do with my illness, doctors, insurance, disability information, cards, etc., and organized them neatly into one binder so that when I needed to refer to it, I could find it easily.
Breaking old habits is difficult by yourself, but Jen's explanations and logic of new ways to do things made it much easier for me. She is prompt, and never fails to return a call and is as flexible as possible. She has ingenious solutions that can be adapted to your individual needs. I believe she can get anyone's home to a place that feels healthier for everyone.

Answers to Organizing helped us through one of life's most stressful events – moving to a NEW HOME. Even though under normal circumstances, we are very organized people, we just couldn't handle all of the projects that needed to be completed with a time crunch.
Jen Ulrich packed up our entire kitchen. Additionally she provided a typed, itemized list of belongings for donation (including condition and estimated worth). After our review, Jen arranged for a pick up date by Volunteers of America, and we had the documentation needed for tax purposes.
At our new house Jen asked us questions about how we wanted to use our kitchen and what things were most important to us. Then she unpacked and laid out the kitchen items with order and precision. Two years later we couldn't be more satisfied with how our kitchen is organized.
Jen is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and efficient; she shares her expertise in a gentle manner that immediately diminished our stress level. Jen allowed us to preserve our peace of mind, and she will be our “answer to organizing” in the future.

Over the years, Jen Ulrich has done many organizing jobs for me. The results have been outstanding every time. These jobs have included: kitchen cupboard organization, major basement sorting and organizing, painting and arranging a tool/garden shed for easy access to all equipment, garden bed planning and neatening, office file planning, data organization with Excel spreadsheets, health care records filing, book categorizing, and sewing room arrangement. After each job, I found that my work was more efficient and less frustrating. Tools, materials, and equipment were placed within easy reach. Items which are seldom used were efficiently stored in a designated area. Jen finds just the right storage materials and is sensitive to keeping costs for these reasonable.
Jen has a unique skill in identifying what will make a person's workspace more efficient. She is sensitive to one's physical limitations, and she makes the necessary adjustments. She has also arranged my home for maximum safety and convenience after a family member's surgery. She finds ways to help a busy person cope under these trying circumstances.
The largest job Jen did for me was to supervise the sorting, packing, and moving of a home after 28 years in residence. This move involved two moving vans and 900 items, 500 of these being boxes. The careful labeling and logbook she created helped the move run smoothly, and greatly eased the unpacking process. Jen measured rooms in the new home and identified which items of furniture would be useful and how they could be properly placed for maximum effect. She was very helpful in identifying which items were no longer of any use.
Jen is personable, a good listener, and of the highest integrity. She takes her responsibility to her clients very seriously. That is why I have used her services again and again.
I give Jen my unqualified, top-notch recommendation for being very skillful organizer. You owe it to yourself to see how her work will make your work easier and more efficient!
